An 8.5 x 11 sequel to 'Something to Prove: A Biography of Ann Lowe, America's Forgotten Designer' is now available. This book showcases Ann Lowe's life and designs through a collection of photos, accompanied by a timeline and new information that sheds light on the designer's legacy.
Ann Lowe became a renowned designer after crafting Jacqueline Bouvier's wedding gown for her marriage to John F. Kennedy. Her designs were highly sought-after and catapulted her to the top of the fashion world. However, despite her accomplishments, much of Lowe's work remains unavailable for public view.
In response to the demand for more information and visual representation of Lowe's designs, a larger format book has been created with photos of some of her most prized creations.
While 'Something to Prove' provides in-depth history, this volume is designed to showcase larger photos with more description, offering readers a deeper understanding of Ann Lowe's life and work.
